Esperanza rising

yester day was i little boring but i am getting close to finishing my new book (that i am reading) Esperanza rising.
Esperanza rising is about a girl from mexico that her and her family suddenly get a horrible tradgety papa dies and his cattle taken, after the court does the will that her father wrote her uncle is the land lord who asks Esperanzas mother to Remarry to him, she says no the next nigh her beutiful house is burned down and her grapes that her familys fortune comes from is burned with the house. Esperanza knows that her and her mother can not stay with any one or they will be punished her uncle owns a bank and does not alow them to take out their money leaving Esperanza family poor, her mother and miguels father talk about what to do they talk about going to america but the great depression might cause a problem. Esperanza's uncle comes again and askes Esperanza's mother whether she is positive of her disison her mother changes her mind and says yes that very night they sneak off to america leaving abuelita (Esperanza's grandmother) there to get better during the fire she twisted her ankle running out. the only hting that reminds Esperanza of her father is a doll they take a train where Esperanza does not believe she should be on and she get mad at her mother for not thinking the same thing. a 'peasant girl' comes to touch Esperanza's doll Esperanza pulls it back fast and the girl goes back to her mother cring. Esperanza's mother gets mad at Esperanza and makes yarn doll for the girl the girls is happy and makies the doll wave at Esperanza's mother, Esperanza is happy that the girls is off so that she doesn't fell gilty.
Esperanza and mother arrives in america they go to the mexican cmap where Esperanza finds out that she does not have her own room, bed, or privacy. she gets mad at mother again and mother closes the door and talks to Esperanza, why she doesn't treat 'peasants' like 'peasants' and why she doesn't act like Esperanza. Esperanza fills guilty and crys her self to sleep when she wakes up s he finds out that she missed dinner and she is very starved, then after breakfast she finds out that she is supose to watch the babys with isabel miguels cousin that is only 8, when mother and the other adults leave she and isabel start their job.
changeing the diapers so when she is watching the babys with isabel she has to change the diapers, Esperanza has to run to the toilets and dump out the poo while isabel fills up tubs of watter and pins new clean diapers on the babys Esperanza comes back and just dumps the diaper in the water and her hands not touching the water isabel yells at Esperanza telling her that she is supose to 'scrub' the diapers isabel scrubs one and hs Esperanza scrub the other one. after awhile Esperanza gets used to watching the babys and a girl that is only 15 already has a baby and a husband Esperanza and this nice 15 year old woman talks with Esperanza many days that Esperanza babysits (isabel goes to school now and Esperanza is left to watch the baby's)
The storm a horrible sand storm comes and Esperanza is in the cabin for a while isabels kitten runs in when Esperanza opens the door. Esperanza and the 15 year old girl are in the cabin for 45 minutes when the trucks and the bus comes Esperanza is told that her mother will be there soon and that the trucks had a hard time getting to them and that they probably had problems getting to the packers (where Esperanza's mother works.) when mother comes home she as a horible cough and mother tells Esperanza that she is fine and the she needs no doctor that they are to expensive mother gets worst instead of better Esperanza finds out that there a doctor that takes care of the workers for free but the medicine costs, the doctors says that her mother has a infection with the lungs that the sand got through and cused this. mothers money goes to take care of her because she has to move to the hospital soon Esperanza has to go to work but she is to young to do so she sneaks in to cut potato eyes the 15 year tells Esperanza that you cook a brick and rap it in news paper to keep warm while they take you up there.
